Jewelry as Art-to-wear has a long and rich history.  The colors, textures and intrinsic value

of the elements of adornment have varied throughout the ages.   However the desire to express

individuality, and in some ways one's place in a culture, remains one of the primary

motivations for owning and wearing unique jewelry.

'Aquatic Vision'  Necklace

Exploring many less-than-traditional ways of using jewelry as an art form

continues to motivate my design vocabulary.   Glass, in unconventional forms, is one of the

staples of my earring designs; the tops of which are multilayered reverse painted and metallic leafed.   Meticulously created one at a time.

After years of observing the jewelry of many cultures, and falling in love with the materials, my work is

highly personalized.   And, while most of the designs originate through my creative interpretation,

I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with clients in translating their vision

into wonderful, wearable and notable jewelry statement pieces.
